A staple favourite which is available in most supermarkets all year round. It is a very sweet apple which has excellent keeping qualities.
Appearance: A dark red apple with large fruit. The flesh is white with a pale greenish tinge when picked early.
Taste: The fruit is juicy and sweet and is best eaten as a fresh fruit.
Pollination: This variety is mostly self fertile which means you don’t need another tree nearby for fruit to set. It belongs to Pollination Group 4, so if you want an exceptional number of fruit on your tree, ensure that another apple in either Pollination group 3, 4 or 5 is nearby.
Harvest time: Middle of Autumn
